Tournament Format & Rules

)       a) Singles only (limited space available)
 b)  Divisions:

a.       Boys & Girls

b.      U8

c.      U10

d.      U12

e.      U14

f.       U16

g.      U18

h.      Cut-off date: 1 January of current year

       c)       Knock Out Draw Format with Consolation

       d)      U8 Boys and Girls will compete together.

a.       Children should not be rushed into competition until they have basic tennis skills (groundstroke & serve - underhand or overhead), the ability to keep score and a basic understanding of the rules of the game.

b.      Court size: 36-42ft (10.97-12.8m) x 14-20ft (4.27-6.1m)

Net height (at the center): 31.5-33in (0.8-0.838m)

c.       Ball: 75% low pressure (red ball)

d.      Racquet length: Each player must play with a racquet than has a length of 21 - 23 inches.

e.      Scoring format & draw: Depends on the number of participants

         e)      U10 & U12

a.       Day 1-2: play first to 6 games (tie-break at 5 all)

b.      Day 3: play first to 8 games (tie-break at 7 all)

         f)       U14 & U16

a.       Day 1-2: play first to 8 games (tie-break at 7 all)

b.      Day 3: play best of 3 sets, first to 6 (tie-break at 5 all); super-tie break on third set

        g)      No-ad scoring; receiver to choose which side to return serve

        h)      Umpire will supervise each match

        i)        Please wear/bring proper tennis equipment (tennis shoes, tennis clothing, etc)

 Registration:

        a)      Fees      : 250.000 ,- (non-ACS students)
                     : 100.000 ,- (ACS students)
